 All work must be turned in!! In order to be eligible for various homework drop options that were spelled out in the disclosure, assignments need to be turned in.
 Lab stamps and work completion stamps will be assessed this day.
 Online work will be entered into Skyward this day. Late percentages will be assessed with the exception of disclosure, grit, and first 2 weeks of online homework.

 Online portion of Test. You may try this as many times as possible, the program will save your best score. IT IS PARAMOUNT that you take a screen shot or cell phone picture of the final score page in case the program doesn't save your scores. While rare, it's happened on occasion. Be sure your name and score are clearly visible before you HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON.

Find the vertex of y = 3x2 + x – 2 and graph the parabola.To find the vertex, I look at the coefficients a, b, and c. The formula for the vertex gives me:
Then I can find k by evaluating y at h = –1/6:
h = –b/2a = –(1)/2(3) = –1/6
k = 3( –1/6 )2 + ( –1/6 ) – 2
= 3/36 – 1/6 – 2
= 1/12 – 2/12 – 24/12
= –25/12

 Today in one of the physics classes about NPR's 6 word memoirs which are pretty cool. They were made popular by Ernest Hemingway a great American author and Nobel Prize Laureate.
 Also, I had a conversation about why we linearize quadratic equation graphs to get our k slope instead of just calculating k from the quadratic curve: Check out this site for a more detailed response; here is the gist:
